Dundas (Dunn dASS, as pronounced by the locals) experienced hardship and sorrow as the second half of the day bawled soggy cold buckets of H2O which rained out nearly all the acts and drove the patrons away in hordes.
But for those die-hard fans, there were three goose-pimpled, underdressed hotties eating fire, hand balancing, and partner acrobaticing (take that, non-word!) under the small shelter of the Collin's bar overhang. It was neat to throw down some shows for the people who stayed and battled the cold and the rain; it felt very fulfilling and all that hippie juice.
We also finally got to socialize with some of the other buskers; Les Walkeries hosted a little shindig in their suite, and I was grateful to finally mingle and meet.
Also, yesterday, as we were starting our show...
...a bird pooped on my head.
Big, white poop.
P.S. Random Luna quote - "Myspace is the new Sleep." Brilliant. Also, I think Luna is plotting my demise. First she kicks the fuel over, making the street super slick, then she slaps my knee in a fire-putting-out demo... I'm on to you, Luna, I'm on to you. |
