Today was a fun-filled, action-packed day!
After a little practice with toxic fuel, Star successfully participated in the three girl tongue to tongue to tongue transfer. It is exciting to know that the Aerial Angels are the ONLY act who do this trick, and Star having learned it will be most excellent for Kingston when she performs it with Lady and/or Huzzah and/or Ziggy/Maximun (whatever his name will be).
Luna did some wicked-cool contortion and hand balancing in the lanes, and her hula hoop routine in preshow kicked booty. For a first fair, she's melding right in!
Isabella finished pub sing all by her lonesome when the other host, Bill, was "arrested" by the magistrate for singin' the Moose Song. Somehow Isabella ended up wearing one of the Jolly Rogers' vests and ringing the "Bell of Naughtiness." She's pretty much the greatest. (Kiss. Kiss. Can I have a raise?)
I got to do my Straitjacket Escape while hanging by my ankles around the neck of a Jolly Roger, Bloodbeard. It was a very intimate experience; I realized halfway through the trick that while escaping, it was going to be impossible not to feel him up. It was the best I've ever done the escape! I was really proud of me.
And now we've returned from the BBQ and I'm going to crash. Today was great. HOT, but great! |
