Skills: Silk, tippy lyra, computer wizardry
Training: BA in liberal arts at Bennington College, circus classes with Nimble Arts, Aerial Edge, and Spinal Chord Projects (the last two are based in Scotland!)
Background: Alex was born in Clinton, IA (where?), though he has found homes in Michigan, Vermont, and Scotland. Alex initially thought he'd be the next amazing saxophonist (not Kenny G, not Kenny G), then changed his mind and decided to become the next Great Writer. Then he joined the circus, and he's content doing all three. And maybe getting into massage. And doing graphic design, and photography, and....
Favorite fruit: Irn Bru

Fact: Has attended four colleges in four years. It's a long story.
Secret vice: Lady Gaga....
Angels Connection: Began as an intern in 2007 and traveled the US teaching and doing small gigs. Stayed in touch and began doing graphic design work for the company, since there's often an ocean in between.
