Skills: Trapeze, Silk, Hoop, Fire, Partner Acrobatics
Background: Discovered circus arts while playing Rugby for the University of Georgia and considered it a logical next step. Began training on dance trapeze at Canopy Studios in Athens, Georgia. Moved to New England in 2004 to study at Nimble Arts and complete the teacher training and professional track programs. Currently lives in Hartford, CT, but is most often traveling to teach at Nimble Arts (now New England Center for Circus Arts) and Circus Smirkus, or on the road performing with the Aerial Angels and Girls on Trapeze.
Favorite Fruit: Smoothies at R Thomas, Atlanta
Fact: Lives in an environmentally conscious house with no refrigerator or doorbell (it draws 10 watts!)
Angels Connection: Had her worst audition ever, getting tangled in the silk so badly she had to be cut out of her shirt with scissors! Her sense of humor and grace under pressure shone through, and we knew she was perfect for Aerial Angels!
